While exploring Legacy West, I decided to stop by Tumi, a brand well-known for its high-quality travel gear. As someone who travels often, I was curious to see what kind of luggage and accessories they had to offer—and how accessible the store would be for wheelchair users like myself.
First Impressions and Store Layout
The store itself is on the smaller side, which became noticeable right away. I was able to navigate through most of the store, but there were a few tight sections where turning or moving forward comfortably wasn’t possible. In those areas, I had to back out carefully, which made those parts of the visit a bit challenging.
Merchandise and Accessibility to Displays
Tumi had a nice collection of suitcases and travel essentials, and I especially noticed their collaboration pieces with McLaren, which looked sleek and stylish. Most of the merchandise was displayed at a reasonable height, allowing me to browse comfortably, but the limited space made maneuvering around displays tricky at times.
Staff and Overall Experience
Although the space could be better optimized for wheelchair navigation, the experience overall was fine. The store had quality products, and if you're willing to take your time navigating the tighter areas, it’s possible to look around without too much difficulty.
Final Thoughts
Tumi offers impressive travel gear with a premium feel, but the store layout could benefit from more accessible spacing. While I enjoyed seeing the products, especially the McLaren items, the tight navigation made the experience less smooth.
⭐ 3 out of 5 rating.
Good products and service, but tighter spaces hold back an otherwise solid visit.
