Accessibility Overview

Accessibility at Dickies Arena starts all the way from the parking lot. Entering the Chevrolet Garage you can the attendant at the gate and they will direct you to a part of the parking garage that they have blocked off for ADA parking. This blocked off area is convenient since no one but vehicles with ADA placards or license plate. This area is also really close to the elevator which you need to use to get to the pedestrian bridge for access to the venue. Arriving at the entrance of Dickies Arena there is a dedicated ADA entrance that you can use making it easier to get inside without waiting in those long lines. Now that we are inside Dickies Arena we can get to our seats. There is ADA seating all throughout the venue so you can always get a good view without the row in front of you blocking your view. As Dickies Arena is a smaller venue with a max capacity of 14,000 for concerts, sitting anywhere in the venue will give you a great view of whatever event is happening. When it comes to accessible restrooms all restrooms have accessible stalls and there are family restrooms with extra room for your wheelchair and helper.

Personal Experience

My experiences at Dickies Arena have been very positive. Parking at the venue and entering have been very smooth for me. With a dedicated ADA entrance it makes it easier for me to enter. I have sat in both the lower and upper bowl of Dickies Arena and seating is very nice with good views of the action happening. I went to a concert recently at Dickies Arena and since the elevators were a little hidden I asked a staff member and they escorted me and my companion to the elevator to get to our seats. There was a time where I had accidentally purchased regular seats in the lower bowl and needed ADA seats for this concert. I asked a staff member where I could get help and they told me to go to the Ticket Service desk inside the venue to exchange my tickets. The lady who helped us was very friendly and got us situated in ADA seats to enjoy the concert. When buying merch the people handling the merch lines saw me and escorted me to the side of the merch table so that way whenever they finished helping someone else they could help me without having me wait in a tight line. My Personal experiences at Dickies Arena have been nothing short of great.

Event Experience

The concerts I have had the pleasure of experiencing at Dickies Arena have been nothing short of amazing. Accessibility was amazing all around from the parking lot to the inside of the venue. Views from the seats I have had have been great. Direct view of the action without having people blocking the view. And when it comes to sound inside Dickies Arena it is very loud. I would recommend taking either earplugs or noise cancelling headphones if you are sensitive to loud noises. Overall events at Dickies Arena are amazing.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Dickies Arena stands as a beacon of inclusivity and accessibility in the world of entertainment. By prioritizing the needs of wheelchair users and providing exceptional experiences for all patrons, the venue sets a high standard for accessibility in the industry. Whether you're a sports enthusiast, a concert-goer, or simply seeking an enjoyable outing, Dickies Arena welcomes you with open arms, ensuring that every visit is nothing short of exceptional.
